What fabric is Vanashree Varnam made of?

Vanashree Varnam is woven in Premium Semi Tussar Silk. The semi-tussar weave carries a soft natural texture with a restrained sheen, which is what allows a deep colour like forest green to read as rich rather than flat.

The body is a deep forest green with antique gold zari motifs. What is woven on the border and pallu?

The body carries antique zari floral buttas, framed by a richly woven traditional zari border. The pallu is an ornate geometric floral zari design, which gives the drape a defined finish when the pallu is pleated over the shoulder.

Does Vanashree Varnam come with a blouse piece?

Yes. It comes with an attached self-colour running blouse with an antique zari border, approximately 0.8 metres. Three blouse-stitching ideas are shown on this page for your tailor to adapt.

What is the saree length, and are fall and pico available?

Approximately 5.5 metres saree plus approximately 0.8 metres blouse. Prabha's Heritage does not offer fall or pico services — your own tailor can add them. Once a saree is altered, fall/pico-finished or the blouse piece is cut, it can no longer be cancelled, returned or exchanged.

Is a green saree suitable for Navaratri or a wedding?

Yes. Green is one of the traditional Navaratri day colours and is widely worn for Onam, temple visits, muhurtham and wedding-guest occasions. The semi-tussar weight drapes easily, so it suits long ceremonies and classical performances as well as repeat festive wear.

Ready-to-ship products are normally dispatched within 2–3 business days after payment confirmation or COD verification. Delivery after dispatch is 3–5 business days to major metros and 5–7 business days elsewhere in India. Standard domestic shipping is free on prepaid orders, and tracking is shared by email, SMS or WhatsApp.

Do you ship internationally, and who pays customs?

Yes, we ship worldwide to supported destinations. Charges and transit time depend on destination, parcel weight, order value and courier. Customs duty, import tax, brokerage and local charges are payable by the recipient unless expressly stated otherwise.

Can I return or exchange this saree?

An eligible request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery to wecare@prabhasheritage.co.in or WhatsApp +91 7356777369 with your Order ID. The saree must be unused, unworn and unwashed with tags, invoice and original packaging intact, and our approval is required before anything is sent back. Altered or customised sarees are not eligible. Transit damage, a missing item or an incorrect item needs one continuous, uncut 360° unboxing video beginning with the sealed parcel and showing the shipping label.
