Tarangini Haritha Manjari is pure soft silk, handloom woven, part of our Tarangini Silks collection. It is dispatched with a Silk Mark tag, issued under the authority of the Central Silk Board of India — our promise that every thread is genuine. "1.5 warp" refers to the specific warp construction used in weaving this saree.

What is the design on this saree?

Large, spaced paisley-like ornamental motifs run across the olive-chartreuse body, framed by a broad metallic zari-toned border with narrow deep-green edging. The pallu shifts to a deep teal-emerald ground, densely worked with a repeating pattern and multiple ornamental bands.

What does the name Tarangini Haritha Manjari mean?

Tarangini Haritha Manjari means a verdant, flowing cluster of green, reflecting the saree's olive-chartreuse body and deep teal-emerald pallu. This saree belongs to our Tarangini Silks collection and does not carry a Carnatic raaga association.

What comes with this saree, and can it be customised?

A deep-green blouse piece with a zari border comes attached, at approximately 5.5 metres of saree plus a 0.8 metre blouse piece. Fall and pico are not included, so you can have the saree finished by your preferred tailor to your own draping style. Every saree also comes with the Prabha's Heritage Journal, a printed note with care guidance and blouse-stitching inspiration.

How should I care for this saree?

Dry clean is recommended. Avoid direct contact with water, perfumes and sprays; air the saree after each wear before storing it folded in soft muslin or cotton. Refold periodically to prevent permanent creasing, and keep away from moisture and direct sunlight.

What occasions and jewellery suit this saree?

Its bold paisley motifs and rich green-and-teal palette suit weddings, festive occasions and traditional celebrations. An antique-finish or temple necklace from Pavizham by Prabha's Heritage pairs well, with a Lakshmi Haaram or Kasumala for a more ceremonial look — we wouldn't automatically reach for green-stone jewellery here, since the saree already carries substantial green tonality of its own.

Can I return or exchange this saree?

An eligible return or exchange must be raised within 48 hours of delivery, with the saree unused and unworn and its tags, invoice and packaging intact. For a strongly traditional look, pair it with an antique-finish necklace set or temple necklace from Pavizham by Prabha's Heritage, finished with coordinating traditional earrings or Jhimikkis. For a more ceremonial appearance, a Lakshmi Haaram or Kasumala from Pavizham by Prabha's Heritage can create a beautiful longer layer against the green silk. Importantly, we would not automatically prescribe green-stone jewellery for this saree. Since the saree itself already carries substantial green tonality, antique/temple jewellery can provide a richer complementary contrast. Do not hang for prolonged periods; fold carefully and store flat. When ironing is required, use a low-temperature setting, preferably with a clean cotton cloth between the iron and saree; avoid direct high heat on decorative or zari-worked areas.
