Inspired by the expressive depth of Raaga Kharaharapriya, this saree showcases a dusty mauve body with copper undertones, beautifully contrasted by a vibrant peacock teal green border and pallu.

Fabric: Kanchipuram Semi Silk

Blouse: Attached contrast peacock teal running blouse with zari border

Weave: Power-loom woven semi silk featuring precision-aligned linear zari striping, structured motif placement, and a jacquard-woven contrast pallu. The border integrates geometric zari patterning, maintaining traditional Kanchipuram layout with engineered symmetry

Saree Length: 5.5 metres saree + 0.8 metres blouse (approx.)

Note: Every effort is made to capture the saree's true colour. However, slight variations (10-15%) may occur due to lighting conditions during photography and differences in individual device display settings and colour calibration.

Styling Tip

Pair this saree with a temple-inspired antique gold haram or Lakshmi kasu necklace from Pavizham by Prabha's Heritage, complemented by classic jhimikki. A soft mauve or deep teal bindi with a sleek bun or braid adorned with jasmine will elevate the entire look beautifully.

Blouse Stitching Tips

Peacock Neck Blouse (Mayil Kazhuthu Style): High curved neckline with subtle zari piping to enhance the richness of the teal contrast.

Vanki Sleeve Blouse: Elbow sleeve with traditional vanki (armlet-inspired) motif embroidery for a heritage temple aesthetic.

Kuyil Kann (Keyhole Back) Blouse: Rounded keyhole with tassels (Kunjalam) — elegant and festive without overpowering the saree.

Care and Wash

  • Dry clean is preferred for longevity
  • Can be lightly hand-washed separately in cold water if required
  • Use mild detergent or mild shampoo only — avoid harsh chemicals
  • Do not wring — drip dry in shade
  • Iron on low heat on the reverse side
  • Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight to maintain colour vibrancy
  • Do not hang for long durations — always fold and store flat
  • Store in a cool, dry space, preferably wrapped in a soft cotton or muslin cloth
  • Refold occasionally to maintain the fabric's structure and avoid crease marks

With the right care, every Prabha's Heritage saree becomes a timeless piece to be cherished for generations.
