Rooted in the serene essence of Raaga Madhyamavati, this Kanchipuram Pure Silk saree features a smoky ash grey body with delicate gold zari motifs, complemented by a fresh parrot green border and a richly woven self-green brocade pallu.

Fabric: Kanchipuram Pure Silk.

Blouse: Attached contrast fresh parrot green (Harita Pachai) running blouse with zari border.

Weave: Woven using traditional Kanchipuram pure silk weaving techniques with a fine mulberry silk yarn structure ensuring durability with a soft drape. The border is interlocked using korvai technique, creating a clean and defined contrast. The pallu is crafted in a dense jacquard weave with intricate gold zari lattice and floral patterns, while the body features evenly spaced paisley buttas executed with precision.

Saree Length: 5.5 metres saree + 0.8 metres blouse (approx.)

Note: Every effort is made to capture the saree's true colour. However, slight variations (10-15%) may occur due to lighting conditions during photography and differences in individual device display settings and colour calibration.

Styling Tip

Pair this saree with a classic kasu haram or a refined antique temple necklace from Pavizham by Prabha's Heritage, complemented by elegant jhimikki. A deep green or maroon bindi with a neatly braided hairstyle adorned with jasmine will beautifully enhance its graceful appeal.

Blouse Stitching Tips

Zari Panel Sleeve Blouse: Elbow-length sleeves with broad zari panel bands, echoing the border design.

High Neck Minimal Blouse with Back Tie-up: Structured high neck blouse with a deep back and delicate tie-up tassels.

Angled Cut Blouse with Contrast Piping: Modern blouse with angular neckline cuts, finished with green and gold piping.

Care and Wash

  • Dry clean only to preserve the richness of the silk and zari
  • Avoid direct contact with water, perfumes, or deodorants
  • Air the saree after every use before returning it to your wardrobe
  • Store wrapped in a soft muslin cloth to allow the fabric to breathe
  • Refold periodically to prevent stubborn crease lines and zari stress
  • Keep away from moisture and direct sunlight to maintain colour vibrancy
  • Do not hang for long durations — always fold and store flat

With the right care, every Prabha's Heritage saree becomes a timeless piece to be cherished for generations.
