Inspired by the expressive character of Raaga Charukesi, Charukesi Neelanjana Varnam is a Kanchipuram borderless Pure Silk Saree in deep peacock teal, adorned with metallic-toned lotus bud-shaped buttas across the body.

Fabric: Kanchipuram Pure Silk (80-20)

Blouse: Attached plain contrast copper-rust running blouse without zari

Weave: The uninterrupted borderless composition leads into a striking burnished copper-rust contrast pallu, detailed with geometric and ornamental bands. Cool peacock-teal depth meets warm copper-rust character in a beautifully balanced play of colour and detail.

Saree Length: 5.5 metres + 0.8 metres blouse (approx.)

Note: Every effort is made to capture the saree's true colour. However, slight variations (10-15%) may occur due to lighting conditions during photography and differences in individual device display settings and colour calibration.

Styling Tip

Pair Charukesi Neelanjana Varnam with a gold-toned Kasu Mala or Palakka-inspired necklace and coordinating Jhimikki/Kammal from Pavizham by Prabha's Heritage. Choose softly defined kohl-lined eyes, warm copper tones and a muted terracotta or rose-brown lip with a small bindi. Style the hair in a sleek centre-parted low bun adorned with jasmine for a refined South Indian finish. Complete the look with understated gold-toned bangles and traditional footwear.

Blouse Stitching Tips

Vanki Rekha Blouse: A structured elbow-sleeve blouse with Vanki-inspired angular detailing along the sleeves, finished with fine peacock-teal piping for a subtle connection to the saree body.

Gopuram Arch Back Blouse: A refined blouse with a clean front neckline and a temple-gopuram-inspired arched back, edged with narrow peacock-teal piping and finished with fabric potli buttons.

Kili Mookku Sleeve Blouse: A contemporary South Indian interpretation with elbow-length sleeves finished in a restrained pointed Kili Mookku-inspired edge. Add a slim peacock-teal inner facing for an elegant flash of contrast.

Care and Wash

  • Dry clean is recommended for best longevity
  • If washing at home, hand wash gently in cold water using a mild detergent or shampoo
  • Wash separately to prevent colour bleeding
  • Avoid harsh chemicals — never wring or twist the fabric
  • Drip dry in shade to retain colour and texture
  • Iron on low heat on the reverse side
  • Store neatly folded in muslin cloth in a cool, dry place

With the right care, every Prabha's Heritage saree becomes a timeless piece to be cherished for generations.
